♥ Blood gushing....
Wohoo!! I finally got to watch Protege!! keke... = p
Watching movie after the volunteer work is definately a good choice as we can relax ourselves!! Hees... Somemore this is what I longed to watch for months! You know what? Jack Neo's "Just follow law" is still full house!! Woah!! He really earns alot!! haha...
Storyline:
Undercover officer Nick (Daniel Wu) had spent the last eight years penetrating into the core of a drug sales ring working his way up from a street dealer post to the managerial position handling cargo deliveries for Jong (Andy Lau) - the biggest player in the local heroin market. When the ailing Jong makes Nick his protégé, Nick could not but sway before money and power and starts to perform his role like a real drug trafficker. This, together with his affair with heroin-addict Jane (Zhang Jingchu), causes Nick to becomes more and more confused about his true identity, and eventually leads to a disastrous end.
Based on materials provided by retired undercover agents of the police force, "Protégé" attempts to realistically tell the story of undercover agents in the clandestine drug world, who struggle to constantly walk on the fine line between justice and crime, but who will never see the day of serving in the regular police force.
Directed by Derek Yee (One Night In Mongkok), produced by Peter Chan (Perhaps Love).
Well, this movie is really a thriller. Haha... = p Hmm, it did scares us in some parts, especially when louis koo inject the heroine in his wife's neck and she died.... and of course, when the bad guy used the hammer to hammer off the bad police officer's hand!! omg!! It's so!!!! Made us all jump up!! =_= There are also other shocking/scaring parts... and of course some parts are quite sad and not forgetting, this movie did perk us up in some parts, the way Andy Lau talk and the way Louis koo acts! It's so funny... but, very sad le... cause louis koo only act a small part only!
Despite that, his acting skills is definately no need to say!! Keke... = p Hao! ^^ I also learnt alot from this movie! haha... Is taking drugs due to emptiness?? Is drug powerful or emptiness more powerful??? Hmm........
Anyway, this movie is recommended!! =)
I went to meet wing after that... Thinking back, I find it very funny... cause I went to Bugis to meet her and we went home! Erm.... haha... Probably I listened wrongly ba... anyway, never mind la... at least got to see and meet up with my friend for a while isn't that bad too right? = p
We took cab home!! Cause it's really raining heavily!! omg!! I was in the rain again!! No wonder I'm having a headache now!! haha... Anyway, I did had a great chat with wing... = p
Coaxing kids is really a....................... well, what can I say?? Hmm.... it's definately not a difficult task if you have great patience. haha... = p
I did learnt something from the kids too! Which is not a bad thing too!! keke... =p We started with the story telling and it turned out to be.... not too bad la... haha... We start with a really short storybook and they turned out not understanding any thing!! omg!! Lucky we never start with the difficult ones! =_=
We definately had a had time coaxing them... We are like half-dead when we left the place! haha... So exhausted!! They were super hyper active! I can see that the 3 boys did put in effort to learn something, although they do not pay full attention at times... but, they are much better than the other one! Omg!! He's really................ nothing to say! haha...
I brought 2 really short storybooks-- which is like one page with only 2-3 lines only and 1 so-called assessment book... Argh!! It cost me $14+!! :( So saddening le!! It's so expensive man!! Friends out there.... if you guys have those children storybooks/assesment books that you guys don't want ready can give it to me!! I'm most welcome!! keke... ^^
Ms Lynn asked if I wanna do part-time work... Wow, I don't mind, but, it's such a pity... it clash with my time-table!! She said she will let me know again... Hmm, it's quite tiring la... cause the job is not only to be a teacher, to coax them, I also need to bring them to their school and fetch them back to the childcare centre!! omg! I only know where is Xingnan primary, pioneer, Jurong west, etc... quite limited la... not Boon lay primary please... haha...
So sad le...they don't remember my name!! =( Now, they remember me as Sydney and CD!! =_= Well, not a bad name too la... at least they can remember. But, of course I still hope they will call my name correctly one day! =)
I am eager to do many things now! K box!! Movie marathon! Sentosa!! And... also to read all the books in the book stores!! Wahaha.... = p
