About The Programme:
Title : CAREvolution Facilitator Mentor
Organised By : Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association
Description : CAREvolution is a movement to promote quality relationships through a simple but powerful formula CARE - Communicate, Appreciate, Respect, Empathise.
Title: Facilitator Mentor
Camp dates: 26-28 May 2006
Mentoring duration: June – Dec 2006
Training dates: 13 and 20 May 2006, 2-6pm
Camp objectives:
* Equip student leaders with skills on doing service-learning (SL) projects, after which they will return to their own schools to conduct the SL projects
* Identify problems and needs of schools and peers
* Learn to use the CARE formula in their lives
Responsibilities:
* Attend both trainings
* Be a camp facilitator to a group of students during the camp
* Follow up with your assigned mentees on the SL project, ensuring their progress and guide them if they have problems (not to do their project for them!) by:
> Meet up fortnightly (on a mutually agreed date and time) with your assigned mentees and a co-mentor; contact (sms, phone, email, etc) weekly

Description : Healthy Start Programme is a community based early intervention programme for families with infants and young children. It provides early detection and intervention in reducing family stresses and potential family dysfunctionality. Duration of this service is from birth of the child till the child is 2 years of age.

Title : Big Brother Big Sister (BBBS) Programe
Organised By : HELP Family Service Centre
Description : A befriender and mentoring programme for children aged 10 - 16 years old from single-parent families. The programme matches a mentor to a mentee.
The time spent together, sharing of interests and hobbies provide the mentees with a listening and supportive friend.

Requirements : Volunteer must be at least 17 years old to 35 years old.
Volunteers who signed up must be able to commit for at least 1 to 2 years.
New volunteers will have to go through an orientation, attend a total of 6 activities before they are eligible to be be paired up with a mentee.

Wow.. all are cool to me again!!! Well, I like the healthy start programme, it's interesting and also qutie near ba.. hehe. = p So many to choose... Which one should I choose?? My mother don't allow me to choose those that are dangerous one, especially the probation officers one. She said I am too soft, cannot.. What if I meet those fierce ones?? haha.. I also don't know what to do at that time.. But, it's interesting you know?? Haha... The nice ones are all so far from my house man.. Argh.. Haha..
